Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 2026
aiHolidayImages ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI image generation service. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the content standards that apply to everything submitted to or produced by the service, how we moderate it, how you can report a violation, and what we do about violations. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the service you agree to this policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all content created, submitted, stored, or delivered through the service, including:
- Images — the AI-generated images we produce for you, including greeting cards with your own message text.
- Text inputs (prompts) — everything you type in to describe an image: names, pet or character descriptions, scene and style selections, and any greeting-card message. Your inputs are content and are held to the same standards as outputs.
We do not accept photo or file uploads. All input to the service is text, and all imagery is generated from that text by AI models.
2. Content standards and prohibited categories
We prohibit the generation of the following six categories of content:
- Pornography / sexual or NSFW content.
- Violence / gore.
- Hate speech.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexual content involving minors.
- Deepfakes / impersonation of other people.
- Content that infringes copyright or trademarks.
The clauses below break these categories and other violations down further.
2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance
The following are actioned immediately, without warning, and may be reported to law enforcement or the relevant authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexual or sexualised content involving minors.
- Content that promotes, plans, or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Instructions for building weapons of mass destruction.
- Content that incites genocide or hatred against an ethnic, national, or religious group.
- Non-consensual sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person.
- Any other content that is criminal under the laws applicable to you or to us.
2.2 Restricted — allowed only in a lawful, non-harmful context
- Real, identifiable people. You may only generate a likeness of yourself or of a person who has given you permission. Depictions of public figures, celebrities, politicians, and other individuals who have not consented are not permitted.
- Religious and cultural imagery. Holiday and faith imagery must be respectful. Content that mocks, desecrates, or is intended to stir hostility toward a religion, culture, or ethnic group is not permitted.
- Messages and slogans. Your greeting-card text is subject to the same standards as image content — no harassment, threats, hate speech, or infringing material, presented as a joke or otherwise.
2.3 Generally prohibited conduct
- Generating or spreading misinformation or deceptive claims.
- Impersonating a real person, brand, or organisation.
- Infringing intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Presenting AI-generated output as a real photograph or as human-created, where doing so could mislead.
- Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
- Using "jailbreak" or prompt-injection techniques designed to bypass our safety measures.
- Circumventing rate limits, credit accounting, or moderation through multiple accounts, automation, or resale of raw model access.
3. Content moderation
We run moderation on both sides of generation: your text input is checked before any image is created, and the generated image is checked before it is delivered to you.
3.1 Automated review
- Input filtering. The assembled prompt — including the names, descriptions, and
greeting message you submit — is scanned in real time before generation. We use
Llama Guard 3 (Meta's
@cf/meta/llama-guard-3-8bsafety classifier, run on Cloudflare Workers AI). If a prompt is blocked, it is never sent to an image model: no image is generated and no credits are charged. - Output filtering. Every generated image is scanned before delivery, using SeeAPI's NSFW and image-moderation models. If an image is flagged, the stored file is deleted immediately, it is never shown to you or kept in your library, and no credits are charged for it.
- Model-level safety checks. The underlying image models we use (FLUX.1 and Qwen-Image) also apply their own built-in safety filters, as an additional layer.
- Abuse pattern monitoring. We monitor for anomalous usage — for example repeated blocked requests or automated bulk generation — and may apply rate limits, require additional review, or suspend an account.
- Records. When a request is blocked we record the moderation verdict, the category codes returned by the safety model, and the time, so that we can investigate repeat abuse and answer reports.
3.2 Human review
- Reported content and behaviour is reviewed by our team, who assess the report against this policy.
- Automatically flagged events may also be reviewed manually where they indicate repeat or serious abuse.
- We are a small team rather than a large 24/7 operation. Reports involving child safety, terrorism, or an imminent threat to a person are treated as critical and escalated immediately.
- Access to reported content and moderation records is limited to the people who handle these reviews.
3.3 Periodic review of our filters
- We periodically review blocked-and-allowed samples to check that our filters are working and to tune them.
- When we identify a gap — a category that slipped through, or over-blocking of legitimate holiday imagery — we update our prompts, filters, and moderation settings.
3.4 Severity levels
| Level | Examples | Handling | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Child safety, terrorism, imminent threats | Automatically blocked + immediate escalation | Permanent ban; reported to authorities |
| L2 — High | Other severe violations | Automatically blocked + priority review | Content removed; account suspended |
| L3 — Medium | General policy violations | Human review | Warning; content removed; credits forfeited |
| L4 — Low | Minor or first-time issues | Triggered by a report | Warning; correction required |
4. Reporting a violation
4.1 When to report
- Content or behaviour that breaches the content standards in section 2.
- Critical violations such as child safety or terrorism.
- AI impersonation of you or another person, or infringement of your copyright or trademark.
- Attempts to bypass our moderation, rate limits, or credit system.
4.2 How reports are handled
- Confidentiality. We protect the identity of anyone who reports a violation and do not disclose it to the reported user.
- Impartiality. Every report is assessed against this policy, and we document the reasoning behind the decision.
- Anti-abuse. Knowingly false or malicious reports are recorded and may themselves result in action against the reporting account.
- You do not need to be certain — if you believe something may breach this policy, report it and we will assess it.
5. Reporting channels
Email support@aiholidayimages.com with the subject line [Abuse Report]. To help us act quickly, include:
- What the content or behaviour is, and why you believe it breaches this policy.
- Where you saw it, and when — for example the page or image link, or the account involved.
- For copyright or trademark complaints: the work you own, the content you say infringes it, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
This is the channel we monitor for policy reports. We acknowledge and review every report we receive. Child-safety and imminent-threat reports are escalated immediately. We may ask for further information if a report is incomplete. We do not currently operate a public gallery, so reports in practice concern images or messages you received yourself, or the behaviour of another account.
6. Response and processing timelines
Automated blocking happens immediately, before content reaches you. The timelines below are for our handling of reports and human review. Where a case needs more time, we will tell the reporter why.
| Violation type | Initial response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Within 24 hours (blocking is immediate) | Within 72 hours |
| L2 — High | Within 2 business days | Within 7 business days |
| L3 — Medium | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
| L4 — Low | Within 10 business days | Within 30 business days |
Our workflow is: report received and acknowledged → triaged into a severity level → reviewed (automated records plus human assessment) → decision → enforcement if warranted → the reporter is notified of the outcome.
7. Enforcement actions
Depending on severity and history, we may take any of the following actions, individually or in combination:
| Action | What it means | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | Written notice requiring you to change your use of the service | First-time minor violations |
| Content removal | Flagged images and records deleted, never delivered | Confirmed violations (any level) |
| Credit forfeiture | Credits obtained or used in breach are cancelled | Violations involving credits or abuse |
| Feature restriction | Reduced rate limits, reduced size or model access | Repeat minor violations |
| Account suspension | Temporary suspension while we review | L2, or a pattern of violations |
| Permanent ban | Permanent termination of the account | L1, or repeated L2 |
| Legal referral | Report to law enforcement; cooperation with investigations | Criminal-level L1 |
Where a paid subscription or credit balance is terminated for a violation, the outcome is governed by our Terms of Service and refund policy.
8. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision was wrong, email support@aiholidayimages.com within 30 days, with the subject line [Appeal], explaining why. We will acknowledge your appeal and re-examine the decision and the records behind it, independently of the original action, and reply within 10 business days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service or the law. When we make a material change we will publish the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
